i know i know. it's been a million years since i blogged. came back from melbourne on fri, after our flight got cancel due to oil leakage in the first engine of the plane. a very apologetic sia gave all its passengers a free night stay at hilton jus across the road from the airport, which was a very nice treat for us who have been staying at a rather "dodgy" place(i quote my sister) for the past 21 days. and so we went mad as we entered the room-2ppl to one, so we had a grand total of 3 rooms. quite a deal huh-it was like discovering gold. then we realised there was internet connection, which means i could check my results there and then. but after much contemplation, and the fact that i dun wish to pay AUS$0.55 per min using the internet, i decided i could wait till the next day. pity we had to wake up at an unearthly time of 4am to make a move for the airport...a waste of an expensive night at a 5 star hotel. nevermind.
it rained hail on christmas, which was a bonus and the closest thing we got to snow. it was freezing, but an experience that i'l remember, as my sister and i struggled to keep our umbrella steady while the cold winds blew. cool thing. it was summer, yes, but about 80percent of the days were cold... the hot days were real few. and we're going like, "are u sure it's summer??" and then u see the angmohs wearing tshirt shorts and slippers. tough beings man. and i have to say this, that there are lots of good lookers there. seriously. which made the scenery that much nicer. haha. the chocolate there's superb...choc frappe from max brenners and that from starbucks there is like heaven. oh mannnn. oh yes. i forgot to mention the main occasion and reason why we were there--my dajie graduated from landscape architecture with first class honours. spoil market, seriously. but it's cool, she has a brilliant mind. her education was well invested. (while my other sister n i hide away in a corner and count our fingers) met our adorable baby cousin as well and her sister whom we secretly call little monster...haha.yeah she's cute, but when she plays, oh man. im glad i survived her physically demanding games which entails her clammering over me, and ruining my hair etc. i scarcely made it out alive. oh and she mauls too. haha. but it's her way of showing affection, apparently. wow. sounds abit like me. but i have more control, thanks.
i forgot to add this, but A MILLION THANKS to my 2 sweethearts who came to receive me at the airport. thanks for the bouquets of flowers, the huge teddy bear soft toy and the chocolates. ok those were just part of my imagination, but my girlfrens really came with a little bear hung by a string. haha. i feel loved. :)
had s12 class gathering yesterday, which was cool, havent met them for quite long...haha thanks shiqin u crazy girl for helping to organise. BUT no thanks u traitor... now im the only one with hairy arms. grrr. don't come near my cave or i might throw rocks at u. i shall not comment about dinner, about the extremely s l o w waiters and not very good service we got at venezia restaurant, the one near the art museum. but i think i just did. but i wont talk about how we waited for an hour for our food, or how sida's food came after everyone's finished theirs. needless to say, we're very unlikely going to patronise them again...(not say the food very nice also...haha my sister missed the singlish back here in sgp, after 2.5 yrs in aus. good thing hers is still intact.)
went st georges today, liked the home-coming feel, kinda missed the times we were there. and although the people were few, and the worship leaders werent idol material, it was pretty good, the experience. and i realise quality worship is not about all those things, but about the heart, whether u truly mean what u sing, and whether ur heart is open to listening. we sang this song:

Before the world began
You were on His mind
And every tear you cry
Is precious in His eyes
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Nothing you can do
Could make Him love you more
And nothing that you've done
Could make Him close the door
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Come to the Father
Though your gift is small
Broken hearts, broken lives
He will take them all
The power of the Word
The power of His blood
Everything was done
So you would come

i was moved to tears. thanks for such love, Lord. truly amazing.

after church and family lunch we celebrated the birthday of a very special girl.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANA

i just watched death note on my com. pretty cool. my sister's in love with the L guy n googled for the actor's name immediately after it ended. mannn. haha. im glad she's back. the house is a little squeezier, but well, i like it that way. :) :) :)
